Lodge Gift Boxes

Small Box

1. Select 2 prints from the stack.  Trim the first to 8” x 6-5/8” for the bottom of the box. Trim the 2^nd to 7” x 5-7/8” for the lid.
2. Score all sides of the larger square at 1-1/2” and score all sides of the smaller square at 1”. *Note: make score lines on the backside of each piece of paper.
3. Beginning with the first print, make a cut into the corner of all four sides (choose a score line and pick the similar one in each corner to cut along), stopping where the two score lines intersect on the longest side of the paper.  Repeat with the other print.
4. Fold all score lines in (print on the outside) and add double-sided adhesive to the cut flaps (do this on both papers).  Fold and adhere flaps in place to form the bottom of the box and the lid.
5. Trim desired tag from the stack and adhere it to the middle of the lid.
6. Insert gift and close box.  Deliver to the lucky recipient!

Large Box

1. Select 2 prints from the stack.  Trim the first to 10” x 8-5/8” for bottom of the box.  Trim the 2nd to 9” x 7-7/8” for the lid.
2. Score all sides of the 1^st print at 2” and score all sides of 2^nd print at 1 1/2”. (Make score lines on backside of each square.)
3. Beginning with the first print, make a cut into the corner of all four sides (choose a score line and pick the similar one in each corner to cut along), stopping where the two score lines intersect on the longest side of the paper.  Repeat with the other print.
4. Fold all score lines in (print on the outside) and add double-sided adhesive to the cut flaps (do this on both papers).  Fold and adhere flaps in place to form the bottom of the box and the lid.
5. Trim tag from the stack and punch a hole in left top corner.
6. Insert gift and write message on the tag.  Close box and tie it shut with the ribbon.  Add the tag in the center of the bow.
