Watercolor Fun!

Hi everyone! It’s Social Media Design team member Karen H. and today I am sharing a bit of scrapbooking fun courtesy of the new Watercolor stack available at Jo-Ann!
Now, while the word “watercolor” may not make you think of the word “delicious”, this stack is just that. Not just because of all the fantastic fruit-themed patterned papers throughout – papers that I would argue are perfect for “first food” layouts—but also because of the different elements that make pulling together a layout an absolute breeze!
I happen to be a bit of a self-proclaimed “lazy title” scrapbooker. While I love including a great title on a layout, most of the time, I can’t be bothered to cut one out or create one with alphabet stickers (I blame the fact that I am a kitchen table crafter for my lack of enthusiam in pulling out my fancy cutting machine on a regular basis). Anyway, what I love about the DCWV stacks is that they often include a set of journaling type tags – some that are blank and perfect for writing, and others that include a couple of words or a phrase that coordinate with the stack. There hasn’t been one time that I can remember that I haven’t been able to use one of these tags to fit perfectly with a layout to support my laziness!
Add to that some beautiful flowers prints that are the perfect size for fussy cutting, and some great colours and patterns that are perfect for layering, the Watercolor stack will have you putting together your own delicious project in no time! In fact, I think I need to get off of this computer and get back to my own kitchen table for some tasty projects of the paper kind!
Thanks for stopping by!
