Birthday plant
by Karla Der | 8 years ago
Hello Everyone,
This is Karla from the social media design team. I want to show you a cute birthday card and flower I made for my mom. A plant that requires no maintenance! Ok, maybe just a little dusting. The plant is from the new DIY stack: Paper Plants that should be hitting the shelves at Jo-Ann very soon. Even the terrarium is included in the stack. I used Tombow Extreme adhesive to adhere the terrarium. I also 'stapled' each tab of the terrarium for extra hold. I used a paper piercer to make the holes for the staple. I inserted a gold staple on the gold edge of each tab and pressed the ends down with a craft stick. I love that the flower patterns in the stack are die cut, so you don't have to cut the patterns first and then the paper pieces. I actually scanned the flower pattern into my brother Scan N Cut and saved the file, so it'll be accessible any time.

I also used the new water color card pack "Hearts" and the tag is from the Guilded geo watercolor stack. I love that the water color products come with brushes and paints that are creamy and beautifully coordinated. These beautiful new products will be out at Jo-Ann stores next week. So excited to see these on the shelves!
