Birthday Time!

Hello Stack-a-holics! This is Karla from the DCWV social media design team. I'm getting ready to celebrate my baby's first birthday soon and I've gotten started with the decorations. I made this shadow box to display with photos and layouts of her first year.
I used several products available at Joann stores, including the new project paper rolls and 16x20 stack.
I painted the DCWV 12x12 shadow box with silver paint on the edges and front. Then I covered the outside and inside with the music notes project paper. The Happy birthday banner is cut from the DIY Banners project stack. I attached it to the sides of the shadow box with Maya Road twine and glue lines. I added the mirror star stickers to the banner and I loved how it turned out!
The rosette in the middle is folded using the neutrals 16x20 stack. I used a doily punch around the edges. having this larger paper made it easier because I didn't have to attach a lot of smaller pieces together. I'm also planning to make much larger matching rosettes as decorations. The glitter pink and silver papers in the middle are from the Premium paper 5 packs.
Any fellow Whovians here?! you might have spotted the daleks on the bottom :) That's right! it's going to be a Doctor Who themed birthday party!
Have you made any decorations lately? Leave us a link, We'd love to see them!
