Christmas boxes, all tied up with strings!

Hi everyone! It’s Social Media Design Team member Karen, and today I am here to share one last Christmas project from my craft table – holiday chocolate bar sliders!
I love filling up stockings! In fact, I love picking out little knick-knacks for stockings more than I enjoy buying bigger ticket items. Chocolate almost always finds its way into a stocking or two and since I have learned how to make chocolate bar sliders, you will very rarely find naked chocolate bars in our house. Coordinated paper stacks like DCWV’s Merry Memories Stack (available at JoAnn) makes it even easier! A few different patterned sheets of paper, a journaling tag, some ribbon (like this pretty variety from May Arts), and you are all set!
I love that your recipient can simply slide the chocolate bar up and the ribbon keeps it in place until they are ready to have a little bite!
And if you would like something that packs even more of a dramatic Christmas punch, try topping the slider with a rose from the DIY Paper Roses Project Stack!
Even if your stockings are all ready to go, these make really pretty hostess gifts, or even cute place settings!
Wishing you all the best this holiday season! Merry Christmas and thanks for stopping by!
