Christmas Gift Box time!
by Karen Jiles | 9 years ago
Karen here, sharing some little Christmas Gift Boxes that I created with the Frosted Spruce Stack. This stack is so much fun to create with. It includes so many various patterns that coordinate beautifully together. I decided to use the stack on a couple of mailer boxes. The patterns and sentiments were perfect for a quick box layout. I loved the end result. Take a peek at the tutorial below.
Supplies:
DCWV
Gesso
Foam Brush
Ribbon
Charm
Xyron Adhesive
Hot Glue
Trimmer
Scissors
Tutorial:
Step 1: Apply Gesso to mailer box using a foam brush. Note: The lighter the application of Gesso the more distressed the box will appear. Set aside to dry.
Step 2: Trim coordinating patterned paper from the Frosted Spruce stack to the size of mailer box and apply adhesive using the New Creative Station.
Step 3: Adhere to box.
Step 4: Add ribbon to box cover and secure inside box cover.
Step 5: Cut focal image from patterned paper and adhere ribbon to corner of focal image. Run through the New Creative Station and adhere to box.
Step 6: Add bow and charm using hot glue. Continue embellishing as desired.
