Color and Create: Cards Made Simple!

by Lisa Lahiff | 8 years ago

Hello Stack fans!  It's Lisa here today from the Social Media Design Team and I am super happy to share with you a card that came together so quickly by using the new Color and Create: Floral Stack that just made its way to your local Jo-Ann (it's also available on their online site! Yay!).

First, let's take a look at what this stack looks like and few examples of what you'll find inside…

This stack comes with a plethora of floral images and designs to color in.  It also contains these easy sheets, shown in the second photo, that you can trim to create your own cards quickly as I have done with my project today.  There are also gorgeous sentiments and statements, shown in the last photo, that would be perfect for coloring and framing.  I just love the versatility of these stacks! (pssst – the floral color and create stack I'm sharing today isn't the only kind available! Eeekkk!!!)

Now I'd like to share some photos of how my card came together…

I chose my card design, colored it and then trimmed the edge.

I then wanted to add some focal interest so I cut out a frame from white cardstock and added it to the center of my card.  Next I colored and trimmed out a sentiment from the stack and added it inside my frame.

I finished it all off with some sequins and ta-da!  Card complete!  The best thing is that I colored this little guy in while chatting it up with my crafting friend and really didn't have to spend a lot of time on concentrating on what I was doing!

I can't wait to see what you will create with these new Color and Create Stacks!  Feel free to share your creations with us on our Facebook page or in the comments below!

Happy Crafting!
Lisa
