Fall card alert!

Hello DCWV friends, it's Jaclyn here today, sharing with you a couple of cards I created with some brand new DCWV fall designs! The Harvest House and Spooky Delight Stacks I'm featuring today are available at your local Joann's store in both a 12"x12" and a 6"x6" stack. I've used the smaller set for my card designs.
The color palette of the Harvest House stack is rich and autumnal and the scaled down patterns were ideal for a card.
I fussy cut a couple of the leaf designs directly from the patterned papers and used my electronic diecutting machine and several of the more solid pattern designs to cut out some additional leaves. Stacking the leaves amongst each other creates lots of texture as well as a home for my diecut sentiment.
I had so much fun creating the first card, I decided to dig into the Spooky Delight stack for a Halloween greeting too!
Again, I started by cutting out some of the cute and spooky little critters from the patterned paper. To ground my scene, I cut out the "Happy Halloween" label, popped it up on foam adhesive and embellished it with some coordinating May Arts ribbon. The combination of elements makes for a fun and festive seasonal card.
To get a closer look at these stacks and to add some to your own paper collection, you'll want to hurry over to your local Jo-Ann store (or jump online!) and take a peek!
