Fall Goodness from Piali

Hello DCWV Fans!!
Piali here! Today I have a fall decor piece to share with you all.
In our home, we like to have a message board for all our invites, school forms, notes and all the other important little things.
I like to decorate the message board according to seasons...so here is my Fall-themed one.
I'm so glad DCWV release the oversized stacks... it made this project too easy!!!
I used the DCWV 16 x 20 Burlap Stack for the background...I love the texture and color of the gray burlap. It was so easy to complete, as one piece of the oversized burlap covered the entire 16 x 20 frame. There was no joining, no seam.
I added a foam board behind this burlap so we can use push pins to attach our desired papers or messages.
I also sponged some inks using DCWV 12 x 12 stencils.
For the embellishments, I started with the 11 x17 Double sided printed -Heirloom stack; I accordian folded it and adhered it to the side.
For the beautiful leaves, I used a digital cut file and the 12"x12" DCWV Glided stack , one my favorite. I love the gold foiling on these papers.
I also used the Mariposa stack for one of my leaves.
In addition to the papers mentioned above, I added few things from our backyard like real acorns, pine cones and a pine tree sprig.
I sprayed the pine cones with a gold spray.
To finish off, I added paper embellishments I made from the gold foil paper and cardstock.
This project is very pretty in real life but it was very hard to capture in the photograph.
