Finish a page in no time at all!

Hi everyone! It’s Social Media Design team member Karen H., and I am here today to share a layout I recently created with the beautiful Birds and Butterflies stack available at Jo-Ann.

This layout was created with small 2-1/2” square photos, layered simply on top of patterned pieces of paper cut to look like a banner. It really doesn’t get any easier than this. The bright, vivid colours and patterns in this stack are perfect for playful and sophisticated projects alike!

And just like the title of the stack says, there are all sorts of birds and butterflies in the patterned paper just begging to be fussy cut! I cut out a number of butterflies to place on the pictures, folding up their wings slightly for more definition. I also added one beautiful bird to accentuate the title and give the illusion that all of the pictures were hanging on a clothesline.

I have a feeling that I will be using this sketch for a few more layouts with this stack, not to mention some Mother’s Day and spring-themed projects that will be a perfect fit with these prints! This stack was just so much fun to work with!
