Father's Day Card: A Real Treasure

Hello crafty friends!  It is Lisa Lahiff from the Social Media Design Team here with you today, and I'm going to show you a super quick and perfectly manly card for you to re-create for any father figures in your life!  I have used one of the newer stacks available at Michaels Stores called Treasures.  This stack is filled with fun and quirky designs like mixed photos of letters to brick walls and everything in between!  Just take a look at the card I've created for today…

To create this card, I trimmed the white concrete wall patterned paper into a 5” x 7” card base.  Next I added a strip of handwritten paper across the middle.  I then trimmed out some letters to spell my sentiment of “Hey Dad”, adhered them to a brick wall panel, and added some brown brads to each corner.  I finally added my brick wall panel to the cardbase, and ta-da!  There are so many fun and unique letters/numbers on the papers in this stack that the possibilities are endless!
