Gift Boxes—Baby Girl DIY Project Stack Style

by Jaclyn Rench | 9 years ago

Hello DCWV friends, it's Jaclyn from the Social Media team joining you on the blog today.  I've been having so much fun working with some of the brand new Project Stacks that will soon be hitting the shelves at your local Jo-Ann stores!  Today I'm sharing with you a trio of sweet little gift boxes that I constructed from the DIY Baby Girl Project Stack

I used the gift box template included in the Project Stack, along with some of the sweet patterned papers that are included.  The finished boxes measure about 2.5" square, making them the perfect size to fit a gift card, pacifiers, tiny little pairs of baby socks, etc.  The boxes are so quick and easy to put together.  Once assembled, you can tie them closed with a length of ribbon to secure their contents and add a tag or sentiment to complete the look.

The gift box template wasn't the only pattern I reached for in the stack, however.  I also pulled out the traceable template for the onsie and star shapes, from the cupcake wrapper and topper design.  Tracing and cutting these baby icons out of coordinating papers made for the perfect added embellishments to my tags.

These boxes are adorable on their own, but I especially love how they look displayed and gifted together.  I plan to whip up a few more, fill them all with baby goodies for a newly expectant friend, and display them all in a large basket to gift to her.

DCWV has really knocked it out of the park by creating these Project Stacks that any crafter, from beginner to seasoned, can tackle.  And no matter your skill level, the results are always polished and pretty!
