Halloween Journal

by Karen Jiles | 8 years ago

Karen here, sharing a little Halloween Journal created with the Spooky Delight stack. Themed journals are so much fun to create and use to capture memories and thoughts and this journal is perfectly sized for the occasion. It measures 8 ¼" x 5 ¾". I coordinated the journal with Halloween-themed Blue Moon Bead embellishments. I loved the end result.

Take a peek at my tutorial below.

Supplies

DCWV Stack: Spooky Delight (Journal Covers: 8 1/4 x 5 1/4)

Charms (Blue Moon Beads)

Punch

Sanding Block

Die Cuts

Ribbon

Scissors

Hot Glue

Trimmer

3D Tape

Instructions

Step 1: Run 2 (8 1/4" x 5 1/4") pieces of patterned paper from the stack through the Creative Station and adhere them to the journal.

Note: This step creates the back and front cover of journal.

Step 2: Run coordinating layers through the Creative Station and adhere them to the journal.

Step 3: Run focal image layer through the Creative Station and adhere it to the journal.

Step 4 Add ribbon along spine and adhere to the inside of the front cover.

Step 5: Punch tabs using coordinating paper from the stack; run through the 1.5” Sticker Maker and adhere them to the journal.

Step 6: Run die cuts through the Sticker Maker and adhere them to the journal. Cut other elements from the DCWV stack and adhere them to the journal with 3D foam tape.
