Newer color combos for Christmas Cards
by Jessi Pascarella | 9 years ago
Hello, DCWV friends! Jessi here today! Are you in the middle of making your Christmas cards? I usually wait until the last minute and stress out about them. However this year, I am trying to finish them earlier than normal.
When I first saw this Christmas color combination a few years ago, I was not so sure about it. It was definitely different than the traditional Christmas colors. But over the years, the red, pink and lime green combo is growing on me.
I actually used the DCWV DIY Project Stack Baby Girl for the papers to make this card. I used fun prints to cover the card base and the panel. The green chevron print is attached to a red cardstock mat. The sentiment is stamped on a printed strip of paper. I used bright, festive holiday chipboard stickers to add texture and dimension to the card.
What colors do you use for your cards? Let us know below!
Thank you for stopping by today!
