Pretty Great Together

by Karen Jiles | 7 years ago

Hi there,  Karen here sharing a “Pretty Great Together” Mini Album created with the New Flower Shop stack.  The it was perfect for this album.  I absolutely love these papers. The colors are vibrant and fun. The stack includes beautiful double-sided patterns that coordinate perfectly together. The pages flowed together nicely, especially with the double-sided papers in the stack. I really enjoyed this project.

Let’s walk through the cover and a few of the inside pages.

The album is bound with 2 loose leaf binding clips and a large antique gold diaper pin with fun dangles and ribbon. The front and back covers are wooden decorative frames that I covered with beautiful papers from the Flower Shop stack. I punched holes in the left side of each frame with my cropadile and added the loose leaf binding clips. The elements on the front cover are components of the Flower Shop stack that I cut out to embellish the frame. I also added some lace ribbon and a coordinating button to complete the look. The wooden frame covers gave this album just the right amount of structure and the loose leaf binding enables me to add additional pages at any time. I love the versatility of this little album!

All papers were sanded lightly to achieve an aged effect. I added journaling spots to pages 1 and 2 of the album. I also layered the pages with coordinating papers from the Flower Shop stack. The papers are so sweet. I added a wooden word to coordinate with the wooden frame. I love how the colors pop from the page.

Pages 3 and 4 are perfect for a photo and journaling. I added decorative mini binding clips and heart paper clips to add options for additional dangles. I also added a burlap page to add some texture and fun to the album. The sentiments were cut from the stack.

Pages 5 and 6 were designed to hold a journaling spot on the right and photo on the left. I carried clips throughout the album to enable adding additional photos and memorabilia.

Pages 7 and 8 hold a journaling spot, pennants from the Flower Shop stack, a wooden word and coordinating clips.

This is a super fun project that gives you an opportunity to use fun and beautiful double-sided papers, coordinating elements and embellishments. The Flower Shop stack is available at Jo-ann stores.

Thank so much for visiting today!
