Really really love watercolors!

Hi DCWV friends!  It's Jaclyn joining you on the blog today.  I, like many of the other design team girls, have really been enjoying working with the new Watercolor stack available at Jo-Ann.  It is so summery and tropical! 

I especially love that it makes me look like a master of watercolors, when I'm definitely not. LOL...in fact, I spent less than 30 minutes crafting these pretty greeting cards.  The watercolor designs add that "extra something special" and make my designs look like more of a time-consuming masterpiece (when they totally weren't!).

The 3x4 cards from the stack are always a great starting point for a card sentiment.  I trimmed the 'really really like you' card into a banner shape so that it would stand out as my focal point.

The gold foil on the sentiment and background paper add a nice pop to my design.

For this next card, I again reached for the sheet of 3x4 designs.  This time I fussy cut the word 'dream' for my selected card.  The script style font is so pretty that it can stand alone on the card front.  I simply accented it with a backdrop of pretty patterns from the stack.
