Santa Clause is Coming To Town
by Lisa Lahiff | 9 years ago
Hello! It's Lisa here from the Social Media Design Team and I have a Holiday Layout to share with you today that I've created by mixing and matching papers and embellishments from the Frosted Spruce 12 x 12 Stack, DIY Christmas Favor Boxes Stack, and a charm from Holiday Lights by Blue Moon Beads…
To create this layout, I started by trimming my dark blue patterned paper to 11 ¾” x 11 ¾”. Next, I trimmed the light blue and grey snowflake paper to 9 ¼” x 12”. I then matted each photo with red patterned paper to leave a ¼” around each side of the photos. I then trimmed the silver tree paper to create a thin border along the left side. Next, I added the embellishments from the DIY Christmas Favor Boxes Stack. I love all of the little punch outs in this stack including the stars, tree, bow and tag. I also couldn't help by add a cute little Santa charm from the Santa's Little Helper Metal Charm Set to my tag to tie it all together.
My tip for today is don't be afraid to use stacks for other uses than their initial design, just like I did with the embellishments in the DIY Christmas Favor Boxes Stack.
Happy mixing and matching, and crafting too!
Lisa
