Super Star Papers from DCWV!

Hey there DCWV peeps, Rita Barakat here with a fun and easy gift idea using the 5-pack Premium Paper Collection! If you haven’t seen these superstar collections at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Stores, they come in 12×12 and 8 1/2 x 11. They also include amazing specialty papers like glitter, foil, vellum, and more!

The collection I chose to work with has thick shimmering papers in black, gray, and white— complete with stars, text, and punched out polka dots! In this close up you can see the sparkle in the glitter paper!

To make my project, I started by cutting out the stars by hand. Next, I glued strips of text paper to craft sticks. I layered three strips of paper with Scor-Tape and attached it to a small metal pail. I used some tulle to fill the pail and cut another strip for the tag. The glitter paper is so smooth you can write on it with any marker without the glitter going everywhere! I think some chocolate kisses would be a great addition; it would look really cute and be delicious! A super & easy little gift!
