Thinking of You Gift Box Tutorial with Karen

Karen here, sharing a little gift box that I created with the Chick Chat Stack. I love this stack. It includes so many beautiful and vibrant colors. It also includes coordinating colored burlap sheets, which adds a great textural element to the creative process. I decided to couple the stack with a mailer box for a fun gift-giving option. Supplies:

DCWV

• Chick Chat Stack
• Mailer Box

Foam Brush

Adhesive

Ribbon

Gesso

Hot Glue

Trimmer

3D Foam Tape

Tutorial:

Step 1: Apply Gesso to edges of mailer box using a foam brush. Set aside to dry.

Step 2: Trim coordinating papers to size of mailer box, apply adhesive and layer together.

Step 3: Adhere coordinated papers to DCWV Mailer Box.

Step 4: Wrap ribbon around box and secure in back.

Step 5: Adhere layers of patterned papers together to create focal image.

Step 6: Adhere focal image to Mailer Box with 3D Foam Tape.

Step 7: Add bow using hot glue. Continue embellishing as desired.
