Trust New Beginnings Canvas + Video

Hello again Stackaholics, this is Rachel back with a very special project for DCWV. I have been on this amazingly supportive design team for 2 years and loved every day of it. The time has come for me to move on to new adventures, and that means this will be my last official project for the DCWV team. I made a special canvas and video and I hope you enjoy it.

For my final project I decided to recreate one of my favorite DCWV projects I’ve made over these two years. Here is my inspiration project… you can read the original post here

I followed similar steps for my new canvas. It was really cool to see how my style has changed, even when using very similar products.

My favorite step (which was step #1!) was adding a laser cut paper to the base of the canvas as a texture base. I used a laser cut paper from a Premium Paper Pack sold at Joann’s.

I also fussy cut these gorgeous flowers from a DCWV Premium Paper Pack and colored them with Stampers Big Brush Pens from Faber Castell (I colored my old canvas in the same way). Similar to the original, I added more texture with DCWV Corrugate paper and used texture paste over a DCWV stencil.
