Greetings and happy Wednesday. This is Yolie from the DCWV Social Media Design Team with an upcycle home décor project.
I started redecorating a couple of weeks ago, beginning with the foyer since it was in desperate need of a makeover. I originally had a tall ceramic pot in there, but I moved it to the dining room. The table was in the media room and the lamp was in a closet. Together they make a great combo, but the wall space was so bare. So…I upcycled a trio frame with the help of DCWV Premium Collection 12″x12″ White kit and the 8.5″x11″ Bronze & Natural kit.
The trio frame was also a thrift store find for $3. it’s perfectly imperfect.
The frames fit 4″x6″ photos so I trimmed the paper and burlap slightly larger and secured them with Scor-Tape to ensure they stay in place.
It took me approximately 20 minutes to complete, 10 of those minutes deciding which paper to use. Both collections have gorgeous laser cuts and patterns, which made it difficult decide, but love how it turned out.

I just love how my foyer is coming together. There is plenty of wall space for some vinyl lettering, but I cannot decide on a saying.
Here’s a different view. Any suggestions as to vinyl lettering would be greatly appreciated. Please share your suggestions below.
