Vintage Keepsake Album
by Karen Jiles | 7 years ago
Hi there,
Karen here, sharing a Vintage Keepsake that I created with the new Preserved Paper stack. The papers in this stack have a vintage feel from the colors to the patterns. I absolutely love these papers. The stack includes double-sided patterns that coordinate beautifully together. It also includes coordinating tags that were perfect as patterned embellishments for this project. The papers also include beautiful gold foil. Let’s take a peek at some close ups.
The focal piece has a card effect that enables photos and journaling. It’s easily opened using the antique copper pull. I added some flowers to coordinate with the vintage papers and the butterflies were cut from the stack.
The papers were aged with vintage photo ink. The post cards were layered with coordinating papers from the stack. I created a torn edge effect to continue the vintage theme and to also create a pocket to hold the post cards and memorabilia. This is a super fun project that gives you an opportunity to use fun and beautiful double-sided papers, coordinating elements and embellishments.
The Preserved Paper stack is available at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft stores.
Thanks so much for visiting today!
