Zoo Day Album with DCWV Premium Papers

Hi there,

Karen here sharing a little DCWV album cover that I created using DCWVs premium papers. I absolutely love this time of year as we prepare for various fun trips with the kids.  We usually take at least 2 trips to the Zoo, so creating this little album cover was timely and super fun.  It will hold great photos as well as important memorabilia just waiting to be collected. I’m including a quick and easy tutorial below:

Supplies:

DCWV

• 5 Premium Papers-Wild Yellow Assortment
• 5 Premium Papers-White/Natural Assortment
• Kraft 4 X 4 Insta Album

Foam Brush

Twine

Cricut Explore Air

Vagabond

Xyron Adhesive

Script (Die Cut)

Buttons

Hemp

Gesso

Hot Glue

Tutorial:

Step 1: Apply Gesso to the edges of the album using a foam brush. Set aside to dry.

Step 2: Cut a premium paper print to the size of the album; run it through Xyron 9” Creative Station. Note: I used the printed corrugated sheet from the DCWV White/Natural Assortment set.

Step 3: Adhere premium paper to DCWV Kraft Insta Album.

Step 4: Trim additional layers of coordinated premium papers down by ½ in respectively.

Step 5: Run premium papers through Xyron 9” Creative Station and adhere to album.

Step 6: Create die cuts and run them through Xyron 9” Creative Station.

Step 7: Add twine and adhere die cuts to the album.

Step 8: Add buttons and hemp using hot glue. Continue embellishing as desired.
